Student Initiative

From the beginning, Tricity Java User Group tried to be very close with academic community. In order to meet future developers and testers needs we’ve prepared a series of lectures which aims to show students basic aspects, technologies and methodologies which they’ll encounter during theirs internships and first jobs.

Lectures are free and open. We invite students of second and third year of ICT studies but also people outside academia who are interested in acquiring knowledge from IT industry. Talks also will be an opportunity to get familiar with specificity of IT industry and local business environment. We’re hoping that our lectures will be

  • May 6th   –  Introduction to mobile testing
  • May 13th –  It’s GIT! (presentation)
  • May 20th –  Introduction to Continuous Integration (presentation)
  • May 27th –  User Experience / design for beginners (presentation)
  • June 3rd  – How to code but not get crazy (presentation)
